Welcome to 2005 – a year to be successful.
Are you prepared for 2005? Are you optimistic about 2005? I am extremely motivated for 2005. I have several projects lined up and also plan on spending some money to make some investments. I am ready to purchase a couple of highly sophisticated software scripts to put my projects on a solid foundation. No more cheap solutions. If you start cheap you will eventually end up with you paid for. You got to spend money to make money. This old saying has quite a point. The problem is getting to the point to have some money to spend. It’s like the story with the chicken and the egg. What was there first? You get the idea. If you started your web hosting business on a shoestring budget you should try to re-invest as much money as possible. Don’t spend your income on living alone – make sure that enough money goes back into your business. You need to build up value. Do it.
While researching how good my new website is already indexed and listed by various search engines I found a link to a web hosting blog. I became interested and followed the link. I like reading business related blogs and was hoping to find some interesting stories. Well, I was very disappointed. Somebody had setup a nice looking blog with many articles. But the trick was – it was not a blog. Every article was basically an advertising for various affiliate programs and paid links (like RevenuePilot or Adsense). The owner of the blog followed a very simple rule. All necessary keywords were in each article. As we all know – Google likes Blogs a lot and assigns high rankings to them. This person realized that she could make quite some money this way ….! Interesting concept showing that a ‘content’ website would outrank many other websites easily. So, maybe time for you to setup your own blog?!
Have a great year 2005.
