Many, maybe most, tutorials on this website have been written by me. The same is true for most web hosting reviews. Over the years I had the fantastic opportunity to push web hosting to its limits and I have used many web hosting providers. I have used (or still use) shared web hosting, VPS web hosting, dedicated web servers, and whatever comes with these things. I have used many different web hosting companies in and outside of the United States of America. Accordingly the reviews are written with this in mind. I also review web hosts without necessarily having an active account and my findings are based on my experience, reviews made by other people and due to my research. These are my own experiences and your own experiences might be different. So, if you read one of the reviews or recommendations here and experience something different, it might be that we operate with a different mindset and on a different professional level. Also, please be aware that I post links to web hosts and other providers on my website. I eventually earn a commission from those links if you click through and then buy a product or service. If you do not want this to happen, remove all cookies from your machine and access those target URLs manually afterwards. This website is the result of hundreds of hours of work and the commissions I eventually earn allow me to provide more information over time. Please rest assured that I try to be as thorough as possible with my research. I also point out when a web host sucks and I hope that helps you to understand that I try to provide honest and good information. This is not some sucky web hosting coupon website that only tries to post a cookie to your machine and then earn a commission. As a matter of fact, the majority of visitors to this website come for the web hosting tutorials and that kind of content is the majority here and that is how it will be.
