    Bad customer service

    I just posted a new article to the Web Hosting Resource Kit website. It is about bad customer service from a web hosting company and I think it is a good example to remember. No matter what kind of business you run, it is critical to provide good customer service to be successful.

    Poor Customer Service with JustHost

    In this case I am not even a customer of this particular web host and they sent me an invoice that contains customer data of someone else. I was nice to report this back to them, but as a result the situation did not get better.

    What are your thoughts on this?
    If things are under control, you are not challenging yourself enough.

    The Just Host Communication Story continues ...

    Earlier this month I wrote about a situation with Just Host and I have to say, the situation is not improving … at all. Today I received a billing reminder from Just Host. And again this billing reminder is not for me, but for one of their web hosting customers in the United Kingdom. And again I emailed Just Host to their (apparently) unmonitored billing email address. However, I also emailed to support@justhost.com and that seemed to have created a ticket. Lets hope for the best that this web host is getting their billing issues under control.

    I am kind of getting upset about that I am recommending this web host to other people. Don’t get me wrong, their web hosting is fine, but apparently their billing and accounting has room for improvements.
