Decide which services and what hosting packages to offer.
Now comes a more difficult part. You have to decide what services and products you want to offer. As we are starting a web hosting business, “Web Hosting” should be one of your products, right?! But every website also needs a domain name.
How about web design? Can you build websites and design websites? How about IT consulting services? Do you know computers? Can you service and troubleshoot them? Don’t worry too much about the web hosting part and the domain names. We will show you how that works. But if you have skills in one of the other – it could be well worth adding these products to your business plan. Or if you have friends or family who can design websites you could resell their services or work out a referral program and make some money by referring customers to them. Think about this for a while – then decide.
